She also has a love for soccer, playing the sport year-round, as the field feels like home to her. At HHS, she plays varsity soccer and cheers for both football and basketball. Her favorite part of cheering has always been the school song. Beyond athletics, Brynn is actively involved in student leadership. She serves as the Senior Class Secretary, a role she has held for three years, and is a member of the Student Council. Academically, she enjoys taking advanced classes, with her favorite being 2250 with Mrs. Gonzalez. She credits the teachers at Hillsboro High School for their dedication to students, expressing appreciation for their willingness to push students toward success while also providing support when challenges arise. She gives a special shoutout to the math and science departments for fostering her curiosity and helping her develop critical thinking skills. In her spare time, Brynn enjoys playing soccer as a defender, where she thrives on the excitement of stopping goals and transitioning the ball into offense. When not on the field or in the classroom, she loves drinking iced coffee, shopping, and reading, particularly novels by Lucy Score. A Taylor Swift fan, she enjoys blasting music while cleaning when no one is home. Brynn advises students to strive for good grades but not to let them become overwhelmed. She also acknowledges Mr. Lunz as one of the best teachers and expresses gratitude to Emily Lanter for always showing kindness throughout high school. After graduating, Brynn plans to attend Coe College in Cedar Rapids to play collegiate soccer while double majoring in political science and social justice. She aspires to attend law school at Ole Miss and pursue a career as a corporate attorney, ultimately opening her own firm. Brynn is also the 2024 Imagine Hillsboro Snow Queen, a title that allows her to further engage with and represent the small town she holds dear.
