Hillsboro Community Unit School District 3 fosters a student-centered culture with high expectations for each student to reach his or her full potential.
Hillsboro High School is hosting the Troy Helton Memorial Football Camp for anyone entering the 3rd through 8th grade on Wednesday, June 7th through Friday, June 9th from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the HHS Football Practice field. The Topper Football camp is designed to expose and develop basic skills used in the game of football. The camp is a non-contact camp, and athletes will learn the newest and safest fundamental techniques for blocking and tackling. Campers will be given the opportunity to work on passing, catching and the kicking game. Concepts will be taught by the HHS coaches, assisted by player and former players. There will be games each day and we will emphasize fun, effort, and accomplishment. Please fill out the camp registration portion, fill out the tshirt size and pay $40 to the Hillsboro High School office by Friday, May 26th in order to participate. Cost is $40 per camper and any additional kids from the same family is an additional $30. Any questions, please call the high school office or email Coach Joe Reed at jreed@hillsboroschools.net. FREE Lunch and Breakfast for all HCUSD3 Students
The Board of Education recently voted unanimously to transition the District to a new breakfast and lunch program that will make both meals free for all students every school day. No action is required of you. All students are automatically eligible for free meals. This change will be made retroactively to the beginning of this school year. All student food service accounts have been refunded for standard meals purchased since the beginning of the year. Extra milk at the elementary and a-la carte and extra food at the Jr. High and High School will not be free. You may choose to leave funds in your students’ food service accounts to pay for these extra items or you may request a refund.
