Hello, Hillsboro! 

 

The Fall of 2024 launches my 19th year in the classroom. I have two degrees, with one tailored toward my initial start in the business world before going back to school to pursue my dream of teaching. I have been professionally and actively chasing my love of mathematics since 2003.

 

I am married to Trevor Satterlee, and our family consists of Cora Pavolka who is married to Ryan, a son - Isaac, our daughter - Leah, our youngest named Noah, and our grandbabies Charlee and Maya Pavolka.

 

My hobbies include cooking, reading, gardening, relaxing with a good cup of coffee, camping in new places, sitting around an outdoor fire, hanging with our dogs, and almost anything related to enjoying country life. My favorite way to spend my time is with my family.

 

I feel Hillsboro could be the next great small town in the Midwest. My roots go deep in this area, and for this reason and so many, many more - I am abundantly thankful to be a part of the Hillsboro Community School District!
