    The Top Topper is awarded monthly to an HHS student showing exemplified characteristics in leadership, attitude, and direction.  Teachers of HHS nominate students with administration making the final decision.

  • Top Topper for November is Devon Young, son of Brandi and Trevor Young.  Devon's favorite class is Spanish 4 because its fun, creative, and interesting. In his spare time he likes to read, make art and watch Netflix. Devon likes reading fiction. In HHS he is involved in Rembrandt Society and Born Brave Club. He enjoys listening to music by Lana Del Rey. In life Devon would like to be remembered for something important. His advice to others is "Start where you are, use what you have, and do what you can." His plans after HS is to get a degree in criminal justice and law school. He would like to give a shutout to Ms. Kumlin for pushing and motivating his as an artist. 
  • Ryan Robinson is Top Topper for November 2015! Ryan’s mom is Earlene Robinson. Ryan’s favorite class is Algebra II with Mrs. Boston because he is good at it. In his spare time, Ryan likes to hunt deer, ducks and anything else. Ryan is involved in building trades at HHS. Ryan’s advice for other students is to not break lights at zero hour Fusion. His inspirational quote is “Mistakes are proof that you are trying”. Ryan is motivated in life by Nathan Robinson.  Ryan would like to give a shout out to Mr. Koniak.  Ryan’s plans after high school are to go to college and become a nurse. 

  • Mitchell Beck’s parents are Aaron and Melissa Beck. His favorite classes are social studies classes, because he enjoys learning about the past. MItchell is involved in Student Council and is class president for the Sophomore class.  Mitchell enjoys playing soccer. His parents motivate him in life in addition to others could have it worse than him so he should have no excuse not to succeed in life. His advice to other students is “Don’t let your time decide your future pass by;  You can be shown the door to success, but you have to want to open it.” Mitchell would like to give a shout out to Mitchel Benton because he wants him to know that he is missing one “L” and that he is a really cool guy.  Mitchell plans on going to college after high school, while playing soccer.  He wants to major in game developing and minor in astronomy.

    Bailey Davidson, the daughter of Mary Taylor, is the freshman Top Topper at HHS this year for the month of December. Her favorite class is English and in her spare time she enjoys hanging out with her friends and cleaning. She is not involved in any extracurricular activities this year but she is thinking about joining the volleyball team next year.  She is motivated to succeed in life because her mom shows her what could happen and what is going to happen. After high school she plans to go to a nursing school. Her advice to others is to make sure you do your work and pay attention. She would like to give a shout out to her step dad Richy Cole because his past is a lesson to her. Her inspirational quote is “Don’t judge a book by its cover until you read the book.”
