Topper Pride Award
The Topper Pride Award is earned by one student from each grade level each quarter at Hillsboro High School. Nominations are submitted by faculty for a student showing exemplified characteristics in leadership, attitude, and direction. It may be an ongoing act and/or one specific and deliberate act of random kindness. Students are nominated by teachers and the winner is chosen by administration.
The Topper Pride Award is designed to promote a positive school climate of connected individuals. Ghandi suggested that one should, “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.” The Topper Pride Program recognizes those who exhibit a willingness to contribute their efforts in making Hillsboro High School a better place.
