Jordan Elliott, a senior at Hillsboro High School, is the son of Chester Elliott and Lisa Holden. He enjoys reading action adventure books, hanging out with friends and playing video games.  One place he would like to visit someday is Ireland. Jordan would like to acknowledge his mom for motivating him to succeed in life and to his friends because they put up with him. His advice to other students, just because you are nervous to do something doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do it, keep trying new things.  A quote that inspires him says, “Be yourself because everyone else is already taken”.  After graduation Jordan plans to move to Washington.

Emma Dowding, a junior at Hillsboro High School, is the daughter of Ben and Megan Cady. She is in involved in tennis and student council at school and is also a member of the dance team. Emma loves to read books where she can discover something new.  In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her friends, reading and dancing around everywhere. She hopes to be as successful and happy as her parents are in life.  Her advice to other students, always do your work on time. NO MATTER WHAT! Rachel Wilson is someone Emma would like to acknowledge, she is her role model. Emma’s inspirational quote reads, Sing like no one is listening and dance like nobody’s watching. When she graduates Emma would like to be a comedienne on SNL or write for the show. 

Christopher Carson is a sophomore at Hillsboro High School. He is the son of Angie Carson.  Christopher is a member of the choir, band, color guard, and FCCLA. In his spare time he likes to sing, dance, read, and hang out with friends. He enjoys reading fantasy and adventure novels. If he could visit one place in the world it would be Tokyo. His sister motivates him to succeed in life.  He would like to acknowledge Allie Jackson also for her kindness and inspiration.  Christopher’s advice to other students is to work hard to achieve their goals. A quote he likes the most is, “Reach for the Moon cause even when you miss you land with the stars.” After graduation Christopher would like to attend a 4 year college and study culinary arts.

Madeline White a freshman at HHS is the daughter of Tammy and Tracy White.  She is involved with art club and a member of the basketball team.  In her spare time she enjoys playing basketball and hanging out with her family. Someday she would like to visit New York and if she could meet a celebrity it would be Cardi B. Her favorite book is Milk & Honey. Madeline’s parents motivate her to succeed in life.  Her advice to other students, no matter the circumstances do your best!  An inspirational quote she likes is, “Falling down is an accident, staying down is a choice.” After graduation Madeline wants to go to college to become an OB/GYN.
