Hillsboro Community Unit School District 3 fosters a student-centered culture with high expectations for each student to reach his or her full potential.
The Topper Pride Award is given to one student from each grade level once a month. Nominatinos are submitted by faculty for a student showing exemplified characteristics in leadership, attitude, and direction. Teachers also observe acts of kindness and good citizenship. The winner from each month is nominated by a teacher and then selected by Mrs. Heyen.
