• Strategies for Success

    • Maintain GOOD ATTENDANCE!
    • Avoid cheating.  Originate your own work to help ensure success on test day.
    • Mistakes help us learn. Perfection is not a necessity for success.
    • Write headings on your paper so there is a cross-reference should you need to investigate the topic deeper while preparing for a test.
    • Use your time wisely.  Homework should be visible and be worked on until the bell rings, unless it has already been submitted to the tray.  Students who stop working and who have not turned in the assignment will be asked to submit what they have finished, even if it means getting a zero.
    • Complete your homework, even when it is not for a grade.
    • Seek out help when you are struggling.
    • Talk to Mrs. Satterlee when you are feeling discouraged.
    • Use homework tips when given.
    • Analyze mistakes and make sure you agree when an answer is marked wrong.  Talk to Mrs. Satterlee when you feel an underscored answer should be accepted.  Find out how to complete problems you missed.
    • Expect the best!  Believe in yourself!
    • Never forget that you MATTER. You are IMPORTANT. You are VALUED. I have faith in YOU!
