Multimedia I will begin with Flash software to create computer animations for the web, as well as to generate vector-based web assets. Students will be able to create cartoon-looking characters and backgrounds. Flash is a widely used tool in game development and in the creation of mobile apps using AIR technology. The next software utilized will be Edge Animate. This is a new tool designed to provide a graphical interface for creating animations using XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Next, the fundamentals of web page design using Dreamweaver will be taught.
