A career oriented class to develop a portfolio for art school and job applications.  Students will develop skills in composition with an advanced approach to working with a variety of Medias.  This includes:  graphite, colored pencils, acrylic paint, charcoal, chalk, oil pastels, pen and ink, and watercolor.  Mixed media drawing and printmaking will also be explored.  A sketchbook with weekly assignments is required.  There will also be weekly discussions and writing prompts pertaining to art history.  There will be no repetition of projects between the two classes.
