6th Grade Citizenship Award Winners
Deklan Riggs is a 6th grade Citizenship Award winner for the month of September at HJHS. Deklan’s favorite class at HJHS is Math. His favorite teacher is Mrs. Matthews because she find humor and jokes around in class and she likes the Cardinals. Deklan’s favorite sport is baseball and he participates in basketball, soccer, choir, and swimming. His favorite app on his phone is Madden Mobile. As you can tell…..he loves sports. He would like to become a Major League Baseball Player when he is older.

Infinity Speed is another 6th grade Citizen Award winner for the month of September at HJHS. Infinity’s favorite class is Art and Music. She enjoys gymnastics and in a member of the Art Club. Infinity enjoys reading mystery books. Her favorite teacher is Mrs. Matthews because she is nice, caring, funny, and loyal to all students. Infinity's favorite quote is “People are people….No person is better than the other”. Infinity would like to go to Hawaii and become a singer or a doctor after High School.

7th Grade Citizenship Award Winners
Kyle Butler is a 7th grade Citizenship Award winner for the month of September. His favorite class at HJHS is Math. In his spare time he likes to play sports. His favorite sport is basketball. He plays basketball, he is involved in track, and is a member of choir, and yearbook. Kyle wants to try out for scholar bowl this year. His favorite teacher is Mr. Haston because he is funny and is a good teacher who makes math easy to understand. His dream vacation would be to go to Egypt and Disney World. Kyle would like to become a Marine Biologist.

Meadow Miller is another 7th grade Citizenship Award winner for the month of September. She is on the HJHS basketball team. Her favorite teacher is Mr. Hart because of his humor and kindness. Meadow’s dream vacation would be to go to California. She would love to become a nurse when she is older.

8th Grade Citizenship Award Winners
Jonathan Langley is an 8th grade Citizenship Award winner for the month of September. Jonathan’s favorite class is PE and his favorite sport is basketball. He enjoys reading Captain Underpants books. His favorite teacher is Mr. Wygal for always helping him. He would like to give a shout out to his mom for moving him here and giving him this opportunity. Jonathan’s dream vacation we be to go to Las Vegas. He would like to play professional basketball when he leaves high school.

Tiffany Michaelis is another 8th grade Citizenship Award winner for the month of September at HJHS. Tiffany’s favorite sport is soccer and in her spare time she enjoys playing prodigy. Tiffany enjoys reading the series “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” and her favorite quote is “You Never Fail Until You Stop Trying”. If she could go anywhere on vacation she would like to go to Hawaii. Tiffany would like to become a cosmetologist when she graduates from high school.
