6^th Grade

Sophia Duncun is a 6^th grade student of the month winner for the month of April.  Her favorite class is Health and her favorite teacher is Mrs. Speraneo because she is nice.  Sophia likes to exercise in her spare time.  She is involved in Choir at HJHS.  Sophia would like to give a shout out to her mom for being an amazing mom and a hard worker.  Her favorite quote is "Just Keep Swimming".  If she could go on a dream vacation, it would be to New York City.  Sophia would like to become a Scientist when she grows up.

Caesar Edwards is another 6^th grade student of the month winner for the month of April.  His favorite class is P.E. His favorite teacher at HJHS is Mr. Stevens because he is really helpful and nice to the students.  Caesar likes baseball and participates in Band. He enjoys reading mystery books.  If Caesar could go on a dream vacation, he would choose Australia.  

7th Grade

Marah Fenton is a 7^th grade student of the month winner for the month of April. Her favorite class at HJHS is Language Arts.  Marah likes to play softball or read in her spare time.  She has a hard time choosing her favorite sport.  She loves both softball and soccer. Marah participates in yearbook, softball, and soccer.  She enjoys reading Percy Jackson books.  Marah’s favorite teacher is Mr. Haston because he makes Math and learning fun.  If Marah could go on a dream vacation, it would be to Greece.  She would like to become a writer or a poet someday.   

Ethan Schreiber is another 7^th grade student of the month winner for the month of April.  Ethan’s favorite class at HJHS is Math.  He likes to play video games in his spare time.  Ethan’s favorite sport is baseball.  He likes to read Harry Potter books.  Ethan’s favorite teacher is Mr. Haston because Math is his favorite subject. If Ethan could go anywhere in the world on a dream vacation, he would choose Hawaii.

8th Grade

Isaiah Gates is an 8^th grade student of the month winner for the month of April. His favorite subject at HJHS is Literature. His favorite teacher is Mrs. "R" because he has known her the longest. Isaiah enjoys riding his bike in his spare time. He also enjoys hockey and reading Harry Potter books.  Isaiah's favorite quote is "Give me liberty or give me death!".   If he could go on a dream vacation, it would be to Alaska or Hawaii.  

Olivia Gent is another 8^th grade student of the month winner for the month of April.  Her favorite class at HJHS is either Art or Math.  Olivia cheers for HJHS.  Her favorite sport to watch is basketball. Olivia enjoys reading mysteries and thrillers.  Her favorite teacher is Mrs. Hires because she is helpful and nice.  Olivia’s favorite quote is “No rain, No flowers”.  If Olivia could do anywhere on a dream vacation, it would be to Flamingo Beach, Aruba.  She would like to grow up to be a Zoologist.
