6^th Grade Citizenship Award Winners

Jesse Balla is a 6^th grade Citizenship Award winner for the month of October at HJHS.  Jesse’s favorite class is Social Studies. Her favorite teacher is Mrs. Brauns because she is kind and very nice.  Jesse enjoys tumbling, dance, and softball in her spare time.  She also enjoys reading the Selection Series. Jesse would like to be an Aquarium Scientist when she is older and her dream vacation would be to go to Paris, France.

Nathan Brown is another 6^th grade Citizenship Award winner for the month of October at HJHS.  Nathan’s favorite class at HJHS is Choir with Mrs. Lemons and Math with Mrs. Matthews.  Nathen enjoys reading and writing books. In his spare time, he shows goats. Nathan participates in FCA and also plays church bells. His favorite teachers are Mrs. Speraneo and Mrs. Lemons.  He likes Mrs Speraneo because they talk about farming and Mrs. Lemons because he loves music. Nathan has several favorite quotes.  They are “Dream on like you never have before”, “Nothing runs like a Deere”, and “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. When Nathan grows up, he wants to become a farmer like his dad.

7^th Grade Citizenship Award Winners

Cadie Flack is a 7^th grade Citizenship Award winner for the month of October at HJHS. Cadie’s favorite class is Language Arts and she enjoys reading horror and adventure books in her spare time. Her favorite quote is “Your mistakes are your lessons”. Cadie’s dream vacation would be visiting the Amazon Rain Forest. She would like to grow up to be a detective or an author.

Matthew Henry is another 7^th grade Citizenship Award winner for the month of October at HJHS. Matthew's favorite class at HJHS is Math.  He likes to play football in his spare time.  He is on the football and track team.  Matthew's favorite teacher is Mr. Haston becuase of his humor.  His favorite quote is "Kindness if free, sprinkle that stuff everywhere". Matthew wants to become a doctor and travel to England.

8^th Grade Citizenship Award Winners

Carson Maddaleno is an 8^th grade Citizenship Award winner for the month of October at HJHS.  His favorite class is Math. Carson enjoys wrestling and football as his extracurricular activities.  His favorite books are “The Diary of the Wimpy Kid” series. He would like to give a shout out to Melissa for keeping him in check.  Carson would like to go to space someday and work as a mechanic when he grows up.

Harley Page is another 8^th grade Citizenship Award winner for the month of October at HJHS.  Her favorite class at HJHS is Art.  Harley enjoys riding her horses and participating in barrel racing in her spare time.  Her favorite teacher is Mrs. Hires because she is always positive and energetic. Harley would like to give a shout out to Mrs. White for keeping her patience with her. She would like to become a horse trainer after school and her favorite quote is “Fear is your biggest strength”.
