  • 6th Grade

    Emma Fields is a 6th grade Citizenship Award winner for the month of March at HSJH.  Emma’s favorite class is Health. She enjoys listening to music while drawing and reading horror books. Emma’s favorite sport is basketball.  Her favorite teacher is Mrs. Matthews because she is understanding. Emma’s favorite quote is “No matter how hard the challenge is, keep trying.” Emma’s dream vacation would be to go to Hollywood. She wants to become Animator when she grows up.

     
    7th Grade

    Jaben Compton is a 7th grade Citizenship Award winner for the month of March at HSJH. His favorite class is Social Studies. Jaben enjoys hunting and watching football in his spare time. He also plays basketball, baseball, and soccer.  Jaben enjoys reading books about the war. His favorite teacher is Mr. Haston because he is makes learning fun. Jaben’s favorite quote is “Never give up.” His dream vacation would be to go Maine. He would like to become a Conservation Officer when he gets older.

     

     

     

    8th Grade

    Mia Sherer is a 8th grade Citizenship Award winner for the month of March at HSJH.  Mia’s favorite class at HJHS is Choir. She enjoys singing and playing the ukulele in her spare time. Mia’s favorite sport is Netflix marathon running.  She participates in Scholar Bowl, Operetta stage crew, and youth group. Mia’s favorite teachers are Miss Watson and Miss R because they are always there for her when she needs it. She would like to give a shout out to Alayna McCario because she never fails to make her laugh. Mia’s favorite quote is “Make every hair flip-count.” She would like to become a Pediatric Oncologist when she is older.

  • Dawson Guinn is another 6th grade Citizenship Award winner for the month of March at HSJH. His favorite class is Math. Dawson enjoys playing games and reading comic books in his spare time. His favorite teacher is Mrs. Mathews because she is funny. Dawson’s dream vacation would be to go England. He would like work at NASA when he is older.

     

     

     

     

    Lauren Hartman is another 7th grade Citizenship Award winner for the month of March at HSJH.  Lauren’s favorite class at HJHS is Language. She enjoys hanging out with friends in her spare time. Lauren’s favorite sport is tumbling.  She participates in Choir and Band. Lauren’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Daniels because she is really funny. She would like to give a shout out to her mom for giving her life. Lauren’s favorite quote is “When life gives you lemons, make grape juice, then sit back and watch as the world wonders how you did it.” If Lauren could go anywhere in the world, she would like to go to the Bahamas. She wants to become a teacher and/or counselor when she grows up.

     

    Pete Lambert is another 8th grade Citizenship Award winner for the month of March at HSJH. His favorite class is Art. Pete’s favorite class at HJHS is Art 2. He enjoys riding ATVs in his spare time watching baseball.  Pete enjoys reading Amulet 1-7. His favorite teacher is Mrs. Hires because she is always so happy and willing to help. Pete’s favorite quote is “Just because my path is different, doesn’t mean I’m lost.” His dream vacation would be to go Germany. He would like to become a Lawyer.
