School Information:

     My name is Mrs. Brauns and I have always taught sixth grade literature at HJHS. In addition to teaching literature, I am also the seventh grade Builder's Club sponsor.  An interesting fact about my career at HJHS is that I have also taught art and social studies.  I enjoy listening to my students share thoughts and ideas about books they have read both independently and in class. I love sixth graders because they are so much fun! 

More about me:

      I coach cheerleading at Greenville Junior High and I also assist with the high school. I live in Greenville with my husband and children. I have two sons, Gage and Gaite, and a daughter named Garis.  In my free time I like to play golf, read, play cards and board games, and spend time with family and friends.
