RULES FOR MISS R’S ROOM

HOMEWORK:

•  Homework is to be done in a timely manner.
• Students will receive 2 late per quarter.  Grades will not be lowered if they have a pass.  If students have used both passes, late work will be accepted at half credit.  
• Make sure your name is on your papers.
• Keep your papers until new grades are posted.
• We keep a journal per story.  Whatever goes into your notebook/binder needs to stay in the notebook/binder until it is collected.  Vocabulary, literary analysis. 
• Most work is done in Google Classroom.  Make sure to turn the work in.  

GENERAL CLASSROOM RULES:

·         Respect others in the class.

·         Come in quietly and work on FOCUS.

·         Raise your hand and wait to be called on.

·         There is no reason to be out of your seat (unless you need a Kleenex).

·         You have 2 passes per quarter for restroom and 2 for locker, so use them wisely.

·         Do not crumple your returned work.

·         Recycle on the way out of the class, not in the middle of class.

·         Follow all other rules of the school

·         REMINDER:  Use passes wisely.

·         It is your responsibility to keep track of passes given.

·         If using a late homework pass, please staple the pass to your homework.

Grades are posted by ID number and are randomly sorted each time.  Please check these once a week.  If you have any questions about your grade, ask me right away.  Do not wait until the end of the quarter.
