My students brainstormed ideas of things they need and things they need to do in order to be successful in class.  All of the items brainstormed fell into three main categories.  My classroom rules were created from those three categories.  Every student in my class signed the following classroom contract:

I agree to abide by the following rules in Ms. Bauman's class.  My classmates and I helped create these rules to ensure we have the highest opportunity for success in school.

In Ms. Bauman's classroom I will:
