It is the mission of Hillsboro Early Childhood Programs to facilitate the development of children and to strengthen and support families in their efforts to prepare their children for future school success, using research based, developmentally appropriate methods and fully including all children.
Arrival Procedures: Parents are NOT permitted to enter the building for drop-off and pick-up at this time.
Car Drop-Off Line: AM 8:10-8:15 a.m.; PM 11:55-12:00
Pull up in line in the circle drive by the orange cones. Please remain in your car, and wait for a staff member to open your child's car door to help them out. Preschoolers are not permitted to get out of the cars and go inside by themselves. A staff member must be present. Parents may choose to park their cars and walk their child to the front door of the building, but we do ask that you say goodbyes outside. Please wait outside for a staff member to greet your child and we will take them into the building and walk them to their classroom.
Students arriving after 8:15 or 12:05 are counted tardy.
Dismissal:
Bus students will load the bus at 10:55 a.m. or 2:30 p.m.
Parent’s picking up their childrenmay park across the street and wait outside the front door for your child's class to come outside. If it is a hardship to leave your car, you may pull up into the car line and a staff member will bring your child to your car. After your child is in your car, please pull ahead into the main lot and stop to buckle your child. (Staff do not buckle children into their seats, in an effort to keep the car line moving efficiently.)
