Mrs. Kendra McSperritt

Hello and welcome to Miss Kendra's website!  Im going to take a second and introduce myself.

I have been in this postion as, Family Engagement Coordinator, since December of 2016.  I love being around children and working with families on any needed resources, along with being a positive support system.

I graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1998, then went on to Lincoln Land Community College.  Finally, I completed my Bachelors Degree in Psychology with a minor in Teacher Education in 2003 at University of Illinois at Springfield.  I continued my education at Greenville College and received my endorsement in Special Education in 2005.  I taught 2 years at Pana Junior High School as a Special Education Teacher, and then 2 more years at Hillsboro Junior High School.  In 2009, I became a stay at home mom, until 2013.  I had been a substiute in all areas of early childhood - junior high up until my current position.

I am married to my high school sweetheart, Michael McSperritt.  I have three children who keep us very active in sports.  My son Drake is 13 and a 7th grader at Hillsboro Junior High, Mikenna is 10 and 5th grader at Coffeen Elementary,  Kendael is 8 and a 3rd grader at Coffeen Elementary.

I love to volunteer and help out wherever I am needed.  I am currently the director of the Hillsboro Sports Associtation Basketball.  When it is not basketball season, I love to spend time with family and friends, go to sporting events, go camping and travel.
