Mrs. Kendra McSperritt
Hello and welcome to Miss Kendra's website! Im going to take a second and introduce myself.
I have been in this postion as, Family Engagement Coordinator, since December of 2016. I love being around children and working with families on any needed resources, along with being a positive support system.
I graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1998, then went on to Lincoln Land Community College. Finally, I completed my Bachelors Degree in Psychology with a minor in Teacher Education in 2003 at University of Illinois at Springfield. I continued my education at Greenville College and received my endorsement in Special Education in 2005. I taught 2 years at Pana Junior High School as a Special Education Teacher, and then 2 more years at Hillsboro Junior High School. In 2009, I became a stay at home mom, until 2013. I had been a substitute in all areas of early childhood - junior high up until my current position.
I am married to my high school sweetheart, Michael McSperritt. I have three children who keep us very active in sports and extra curricular activities. My son Drake is 13, daughter Mikenna is 11 and they are both at Hillsboro Junior High, and then my daughter Kendael is 9 and a 4th grader at Beckemeyer Elementary.
I love to volunteer and help out wherever I am needed. I am currently the director of the Hillsboro Sports Associtation Basketball. When it is not basketball season, I love to spend time with family and friends, go to sporting events, go camping and travel.
