Instructional Leader 
 
 
I taught pre-k for 18 years (in Coffeen since 2002).  PreK is a passion of mine and I truly enjoy teaching and watching these young children grow!  I moved into the role of Instructional Leader for our program in 2018, and am excited to continue working with our littlest students and their families, as well as to be a support to the amazing teachers of this program.
 
Students call me "Miss Sarah" since my last name is a little tricky.  :) 
 
I completed my Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education in 2000 at Greenville College, and received a Master's in Special Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville in 2006. 
 
I have a 7 year old daughter, a 13 year old son.  My greatest joy in life is spending time with my family.  I also enjoy running, reading, baking, and camping.  Coffee and ice cream are two of my  "love languages". :p
