Hillsboro School District takes the privacy of our student's data seriously. We are working diligently to be compliant with the Student Online Personal Protection Act (SOPPA) initiated by the State of Illinois.  SOPPA goes into effect on July 1, 2021.  Hillsboro School District has designed this page to keep everyone informed on SOPPA, online privacy protection acts and restrictions.  SOPPA is in place to protect student data when collected by educational technology companies, and that data is used for beneficial purposes only.
