Hello! My name is Taylor Weiss and I will be teaching 2nd grade this year here at Beckemeyer Elementary. I am looking forward to my first year of teaching and first year at Beckemeyer! I completed my education through Kaskaskia College and Greenville University, where I just recently graduated this past May with a degree in Elementary and Special Education. I am looking forward to creating a classroom environment where students feel like we are a family. My goal is for students to learn and grow throughout the year educationally while exhibiting exceptional character traits. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I especially love going to my twin brothers high school football games, and being bundled up in the fall weather. I also have a special love for horses that is near and dear to my heart, in addition to owning my own business. I have two dogs, Hattie and Hayes, who are the greatest joys. I look forward to a great school year!
