Welcome to my webpage. I am the Kindergarten- 3rd grade life skills teacher.  I am very excited about starting a new school year. This starts my 5th year of teaching in this district. I have experience teaching students from an alternative school in Nokomis for  6 years before coming to Beckemeyer. I have always loved working with children. I received my Bachelors Degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences from Eastern IL University in Charleston. I received my Masters Degree in teaching from McKendree University in Lebanon, IL.  In the past, before I became a certified teacher, I worked as an aide for Midstate at multiple grade levels, did home ABA therapy for kids that have been diagnosed with Autism, and substitute teaching.

I love to read, color, and hang out with friends and family. I love animals. I have 2 Siberian Huskies at home and their names are Macey and Loki.
