Kindergarten

I am very excited about teaching Kindergarten for my 5th year at Beckemeyer Elementary!  This is my 20th year teaching!  I have taught Pre-school, First Grade, and Kindergarten, where I have spent the majority of my teaching career.  I am passionate about teaching kindergarten.  I enjoy seeing the tremendous growth my little learners achieve in their first year of school.  I love teaching them how to read, write simple sentences, and the importance of being a kind and respectful friend.  We will spend a lot of time building our classroom community through daily conversations about respect, responsibility, and reflections on our lives and actions. 

My husband, Jimmy, and I live in Litchfield with our children, Grace and Griffin.  We have a dog named Otis and a cat named Lola.  Our family loves being outdoors, vacationing at the beach, playing and watching sports, and being silly together.
