Hi there! I am Miss Hamby, a 3rd grade teacher here at Beckemeyer Elementary. I am very excited to be back in my home district teaching! I have a teacup yorkie named Daisy Mae and I love to read. I graduated from Hillsboro High School in 2016 and continued my education at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville to obtain my B.S. in Elementary Education. I taught first grade in the Panhandle School District for five years before coming home to Hillsboro to teach. I love seeing the students grow throughout the year, gain confidence, and make great memories and friends in third grade. It is going to be the best year!
