Aloha!

My name is Barbara Bloemke and I am a 5th grade teacher.  I’ve been teaching upper elementary students for almost 15 years and I love fifth grade. I’m thrilled to be starting my second year here at Beckemeyer and can't wait to get to know my students and their families! I’m looking forward to building a caring classroom ohana, and I'm sure, with parent support, we are going to be a great team.

I’m a Coffeen girl who got to spend 25 years living in Hawaii, moving back to Illinois to be near family. I enjoy showing students connections between island life and life here in the Midwest.
