I have been a Speech-Language Pathologist for 28 years!  I completed my B.S. and M.S in speech-language pathology from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois.  After graduation, I moved to the Chicago suburb of Des Plaines, and began my career as an SLP with a contractual agency in the North Chicago School District.  I served in that district for 11 years, working with children in Pre-K through 8th grade.  During my time up north, I married my wonderful husband Mark, whom I met while I was at ISU.  We have two children, Kelsey and Riley.  In 2003, my family and I moved back to Central Illinois where I grew up.  I began working at Beckemeyer in August 2003, which makes this my 18th year here!!  I love the students and the staff at Beckemeyer!  What a great community to learn in!
