Hello!  My name is Patty Hernandez and I am a Special Education Teacher at Hillsboro High School.  This is my 27th year in education and my 6th year at HHS.  This year I will be teaching Instructional English I, Instructional English II, and Instructional English IV as well as co-teaching English I with Mr. Corey Parks and English III with Mrs. Beth Gonzalez.  I graduated from Triad High School in 1989 and from SIUE in 1995 with a Bachelor's of Science in Special Education.  I returned to SIUE in 2011 and completed my Masters in Special Education in December of 2013.
