Mrs. Lisa Lomprez

Welcome!

My name is Lisa Lomprez.  I am from Peoria, Il.  I graduated from Greenville College in 1989.  I have worked here at Hillsboro High School since 1994.  I truly love teaching in the Life Skills Program.  My goal for my students is to help them become as independent as possible in order to be contributing citizens of our community.

Enjoy the website.  Here you can find my schedule, my email, class descriptions, and class activities.   Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.  My email address is llomprez@hillsboroschools.net. You can contact the school and leave a message and I will get back to you.

I encourage students and parents to review the Parent and Student guides on how to use the new learning format we will be using this year, Schoology.
For Parents use : Parent Guide to Schoology.   For Students use:   Student Guide to Schoology

 Our Vision Statement:

The Life Skills Program is a curriculum approach that blends academic, daily living, personal/social, and occupational skills into integrated lessons designed to help students learn to function independently in society.    It is our responsibility as a society to provide a wide variety of experiences for students with special needs.   The ultimate goal of the Life Skills Program is to prepare students for the world of work, to develop functional life skills, and to become independent, responsible, and productive citizens.

You can view my lessons for each week on planbook.com.  Keep in mind that sometimes lessons are subject to changes throughout the week.  I will do my best to keep them up to date throughout the school year.  Thank you.
