Culinary Arts II

  • Students will apply the principles of the hospitality industry, inclding nutrition, culinary and entrepreneurial opportunitites. The course curriculum includes the following topics: food selection, purchase and preparation, conservation of culinary resources, dietary trends and needs, international cuisine, food safety and sanitation and career exploration in the food service industry. The Illinois Food Handlers Certification is offered to students.
