• ZERO HOUR FUSION GUIDELINES


    Class begins at 7:00am – Sign-in will take place in the lobby

    Tardy when the sign-in sheets have been picked up. *Getting stuck behind the bus still makes you tardy.

    *Attire must be P.E. appropriate. Not changing into school attire will result in a zero for the day.

    5 Day Week:

    -          Choose the workout area for the day – remain there until 7:35, entire time preferred.

    -          Throughout the week must attend 3 separate areas

    -          One day MUST be a pool day! *No pool:  -10 pts. Lab.  Points are cumulative (2nd week: -20 pts.)

    4 Day Week

    -          Same requirements as 5 day week.

    -          Pool mandatory.

    -          3 or less days, pool not mandatory

    -          ***you missing a day in the week does not change the number of days on the calendar

    WORKOUT AREAS:

    Cardio Room-  

                     Minimum time on machines = 30 min. Minimum speed: 3mph. Messing with buttons, it starts over, so do you.

     

    Pool-

                    Lazy river, walk against the current. I will regulate the speed of travel.

                    Basketball, swim/walk down and back to rope after 5 points.

                   

    Track- 

    REQUIRED ONE DAY PER WEEK.  Run mile to start = 15 laps.

                    *when finished with mile may walk one jog one alternately.

    Free Weights-

                    Work out must encompass entire class period. Three sets, 8-10 reps

                    May walk a lap on the track between lifts.

    Gym-

                    Only one day per week.

                    Everyone must complete 1:30 on the ropes before play begins.

                    Basketball/volleyball may turn into sprints at any time. . . .

    Aerobics Room-

                    Utilize exercise balls as intended—not chairs—no circle medicine ball game.

                    Create an exercise program or look one up; complete it!

     

     

     

                     

     

     

     

    NON-WORKOUT RELATED REGULATIONS

    Parking-

                    Must park in student lot. When late and no spots remain, park on the north end.

                    When caught parking in the upper lot:  -10 points for the day.

                    Do not speed when leaving the parking lot. Calls to the school are bad for you.

    Attendance-

                    Tardy: -5 points

                    5 days unexcused = dropped from class

                    10 days missed zero hour only = dropped from class

                    **Absences that are zero hour only will result in a zero.

    Courtesies-

                    ALWAYS WIPE DOWN EQUIPMENT AFTER USE

    Check shoes before entering.  Mud, wet or dried, needs to be cleaned before shoes are worn in the workout areas.

    Wipe make-up off from sinks after use.

    Report any damage that may occur during activity.  Sometimes, things just break…
