On behalf of the Witt Elementary School staff, I would like to welcome everyone back to school for the 2008-2009 school year.  My name is Mark Fenske and I am the new principal. 

We have a new on-line registration form for parents and guardians to use this year.  You may complete the form on your computer, print it out, and bring it to school when you register your child/children on one of the following registration dates:  August 4th and 5th, 2008. 

Kindergarten Orientation is scheduled for Monday, August 18th at 6:00 p.m.  Parents and children who will start Kindergarten are invited to attend.  The children will be much better prepared if they are introduced to their teacher and their new school the night before the “Big day”.

The first day of school attendance for students will be Tuesday, August 19, 2008 with an early dismissal at 11:30 a.m.  There will not be breakfast or lunch served that day.  On August 20, students will be released at 2:00 p.m., and school will not be in session on Thursday, August 21st, or Friday, August 22nd for the Old Settlers Celebration. The first full day of school will be on Monday, August 25, 2008.
