Tri-M |
Tri-M is a national honor society for student musicians sponsored by MENC (Music Educators' National Conference). Students are selected for membership by the HJHS music faculty. Selection is based on criteria such as scholarship, musicianship, leadership, and citizenship. In order to be selected, a student must currently have a "C" average or higher in all subjects, and a "B" average or higher in music classes. The main purpose of Tri-M is to promote music in our school and community. Tri-M does not require a major time commitment, although we will conduct several school and community service projects.
