Magazine Cover Project:

Students are to create a composition that follows a theme that is probable for the magazine cover in question such as a sport activity for "Sports Illustrated" magazine. Students are to include magazine banner and may add other elements such as bar codes and mailing labels to make it look like a real cover. The basic composition should be able to stand alone without these additional elements. The pen tool, vector paths, advance masking techniques and color correction are emphasized. CD Cover Project:

Students may create a CD cover for a music CD, a CD ROM, personal portfolio or other purpose. The document is to be set up a precise size. The paint tools and special effects such as blending modes and filters are used for this project. See PDF describing details.
