Hillsboro High School Choral Director

Mrs. Amy Warters

Its a new year for everyone in the choir program this year. With the start of Mrs. Amy Warters, the choir is in for a whole new style and way of performing. She is excited to start and is working extremely hard for the students. This year is her first year teaching. Mrs. Amy Warters is ready more now than ever to be the new Hillsboro High School Chorus director. Receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Music Education and a Minor in Flute in 2007 from Milikin University, she furthered her education in 2011 going on to receive a Master’s of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Northern Arizona University. Amy Warters is a Tuscola High School graduate, receiving her diploma in 2003. She is skilled in all instruments as all Music Education Majors are required, but is specialized in Piano, Flute, Piccolo, and Chorus as a Soprano. Let us all play a role in welcoming her and making her job a lot of fun! In her spare time, since joining the High School Music Department, her most frequent hobby is sleep. She is also excited to direct the 2011-2012 Operetta Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.
