Oral and written skills are further developed with continued emphasis on grammar skills and increased vocabulary. The student will read and translate dialogs, poetry and short stories in Spanish. Oral work using conversation is an important area of the course. The class will be conducted in Spanish with students expected to participate in the language. |

| COURSE DESCRIPTION: | Oral and written skills are further developed with emphasis on grammatical structure. Vocabulary is increased through a variety of translations. The students will read and translate short stories in Spanish. The culture and civilization of Spanish-speaking countries is studied during the translations. The class is conducted in Spanish and students are expected to participate in the language. |
